iZotope Music Production Suite 5 swells to 52 modules
Parallel to the Neutron 4 release, iZotope releases Music Production Suite 5 Universal Edition. Not only is the new Neutron 4 mixing suite included in the iZotope flagship mixing and mastering plugin bundle. Two new reverbs called Stratus 3D and Symphony 3D by Exponential Audio, and six new effect plugins from iZotope’s partner, Brainworx, have been added to Music Production Suite 5.

With 52 plug-ins included at launch, Music Production Suite 5 Universal Edition includes a comprehensive array of tools, from creative effects and sonic shaping, to assistive mixing, vocal production, mastering, repair, and balancing. iZotope increasingly includes AI-powered audio assistants to help the user with personalized starting points.

Our View
There is no doubt that iZotope produces high-quality music software. So getting your hands on 52 of them puts any producer or engineer into a plush position.
Adding not just the latest Neutron 4, but also plugins from the Soundwide partner brainworx, and the reverb specialist Exponential Audio, increase your possibilities.
Whether version 5 is worth buying, or upgrading to, is a more difficult decision. The Full Price is very high at $1,000. However, when you look at the upgrade options, which leave the door open to anyone buying the bundle for $400, at less than $10 per module, Music Production Suite 5 looks a bit better value for money.
